Software/firmware Engineer

Gigamon is currently seeking a Software/Firmware Engineer. We are seeking a positive, highly motivated and effective software/firmware Engineer to join a team responsible for developing the next generation of network equipment. Duties/Responsibilities -

• Hands-on software integration with one or more Network Processors/Switching ASICs
• Hands-on experience with networking reference design boards/systems.
• Strong C/C++ development on Linux, ECOS or any other embedded OS.
• Experience with one or more L3 and L2 routing protocols.
• Experience in software-based packet handling
• Experience with Multicore processors preferred
• Familiarity with TCP/IP stacks
