10G Support | Network Aggregation | Built-in TAPs | Packet Filtering | Remote Management | Share Span Ports | Stacking
Gigamon's innovative aggregation and packet filtering technology is designed for enterprise networks and data centers. Aggregate traffic from any SPAN port or TAP in the data center to increase network visibility. By sending packets from multiple network ports to one or more tool ports GigaVUE enables aggregation of network traffic from multiple access points of a massively parallel network into a single stream for analysis.

The figure below illustrates the concept of data flows between network and tool ports. Data arrives from different sources at the network ports on the left and is forwarded to different tools connected to tool ports on the right. Traffic arriving at a single network port can be sent to multiple destination tool ports. Filters can be applied to network and tool ports. Filters applied to network ports are pre-filters and filters applied to the tool ports are post-filters.
